Yeah, Rogers has a great link with Reading, working up as a coach and living there too. Lampard Snr will bring a wealth of experience also. Rogers is apparently good friends with Mourinho after his Chelsea spell and regularly stays at his house in Italy, they’ve also been discussing transfers so I’m well excited for what young talent he’ll bring in to replace the oldies that’ve been let go.

After the Darren Ferguson 'attempt', it's apparent that Sir John Madejski is opting for the archetypal young managerial prospect, with long term planning considered. I also believe Frank Lampard Snr is joining as a coach, so the new era is really getting off the ground.
